Chronic bronchitis is a condition characterized by long-term inflammation of the bronchi and sputum production.
Why is it seen?
Long-term smoking, air pollution, chemical fumes and dust can cause chronic bronchitis. Smoking is the most common cause.

Persistent cough
Sputum production
Shortness of breath
Wheezing
Chest discomfort
Who is affected?
It is mostly seen in smokers and those exposed to air pollution.
