Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever)

What is it?
Allergic rhinitis is inflammation of the nasal mucosa as a result of hypersensitivity to allergens.

Why is it seen?
Contact with allergens such as pollen, dust mites, animal hair, mold fungi can cause allergic rhinitis. Genetic predisposition is also an important factor.

What are the Symptoms?

Runny nose
Sneezing
Nasal congestion
Itching and watery eyes
Itching in the throat

Who Can See It?
It can occur in people of all ages, but is usually more common in children and young adults.

What Age Range Does It Occur?

Chronic Sinusitis
